MY BIO
Katherine McNamara began her career at a Big Four accounting firm in the international tax practice. She gained domestic and international tax experience, including preparing, reviewing, and consulting on complex international tax matters.
Following her time in public accountancy, Katherine worked for a private wealth management team at one of the world's largest banks. Katherine assisted with tax, trust and estate, and investment planning for a team with more than $10 billion assets under management.
Katherine is a California and New York State Certified Public Accountant (CPA), has passed the Series 7 General Securities Representative Exam and Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law Exam, and has completed the AICPA Estate Planning Certificate Program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from SUNY Geneseo and a Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University.
Katherine is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA). Katherine is also a Certified Sustainability Excellence Associate through the International Society of Sustainability Professionals.
